Meghan began her journey as a group fitness instructor in 2009. Since then, she has taught a wide variety of formats ranging from high intensity interval classes and dance, to slow flow/Yin-inspired yoga classes. Prior to pursuing her career as a Quality Assurance and User Experience Specialist for Epic Systems, Meghan was a middle school teacher and then a full-time personal trainer. Meghan believes teaching, whether it be in a classroom or in a fitness studio, is one of life's greatest privileges and is grateful for the energy that each of students bring to their mat each class. She aims to guide each student towards their personal goals while cultivating an inviting and energizing atmosphere for all. She believes that every student, whether they have been doing group fitness for years or are a first-timer, brings something truly valuable to the space. Over the years, she has learned that group fitness is as good for the body as it is for the mind and soul and aims to incorporate mind/body connections into all of her classes. She is extremely honored and excited to be returning to Mona Method Studios after having taught at Melt many years ago and is thrilled to be teaching in the heart of downtown Madison, the city she has called home for her entire life. Please join her for her upcoming Candlelight Aroma Yoga classes at 3pm on Sunday afternoons starting in May.
